Wellcome to Tom Keil´s filter page!

This website shall serve you as a resource for image editing and manipulation. It presents the custom G´MIC filters written by Tom Keil. The filters are explained in the filter section. For some filters and also for some manual image editing techniques additional tutorials are here on this website.

A main function of this website is to host the source code of the filters for your convenient review. The filters are either available in the main filter tree of G´MIC or as external source in G´MIC. If you have installed GIMP and the G´MIC plugin and enabled the external filter sources you can use all filters explained here without further installation.

If you are new to GIMP and G´MIC here is how to use the filters: Install GIMP and install the G´MIC plugin, download adresses see links section. Open your image with GIMP, go to filters, then G´MIC and the G´MIC list of filters appears. Go to any filter section and select the filter you like. The filters provided by Tom Keil are listed in the filter page, section in the G´MIC filter tree is mentioned in brackets. To keep your filters up to date use refresh regular and all your filters will be updated automatically
